By creating an account, accessing, or using VoiceScribe AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
2. Accounts and authentication
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or fraud risk.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to upload audio or video content that you do not have the legal right to process, that infringes third-party rights, or that contains unlawful, harmful, or deceptive material.
You are solely responsible for obtaining consent from meeting participants before recording, as required by applicable law.
4. Subscription and billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until canceled. By subscribing you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method on each renewal.
Prices exclude applicable taxes unless explicitly stated. You may cancel at any time via Account → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Refunds
Refund eligibility and procedures are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to the content you upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to process, store, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service on your behalf.
All software, trademarks, and other assets of the Service remain our property or that of our licensors.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service you acknowledge our privacy practices.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Transcription results may contain errors; do not rely on them for safety-critical decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amounts paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
