Account information: email, authentication tokens, optional profile fields.
Content: audio, video, and transcripts you upload or record through the Service.
Usage data: device, browser, IP, pages visited, feature interactions. Used to secure and improve the Service.
Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store only the customer ID and subscription status.
2. How we use information
To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To process transactions and send transactional emails (verification, invoices, security notices).
To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse.
To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
We process personal data on the bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligation.
4. Sharing and sub-processors
We share data only with processors required to run the Service, including: Amazon Web Services (storage), Stripe (payments), and our email provider. A current list is available on request.
We do not sell personal information.
5. International transfers
Data may be processed in regions outside your country. Where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Audio and transcripts follow the retention rules of your plan; you may delete content at any time from the dashboard.
7. Security
We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest, least-privilege access, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; report vulnerabilities to security@voicescribe.ai.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing.

9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
